The Director Fr. Sebastian Ignaci OCD, a Carmelite priest ordained in 2018. After the Priestly ordination, He served in village and town parishes for three years. He pursued a Master’s Degree in Economics. Moreover, he obtained a Master Degree in Social Work (MSW) with the specialization of Human Rights at Loyola College Chennai, the pass out year is 2023.

During his academic studies, he gained valuable experiences in the field of Human Rights through internships and involvement with various NGOs working on rights-based and village development programs. He also conducted a research study on the socio-economic status of women members of Self-Help Groups and presented the same at the college level.

Soon after completing his studies, he was given the opportunity to serve as Assistant Director of DCMSSS, the social wing of the Order of Discalced Carmelites, where he has served for the past three years. At present, he has been entrusted with the responsibility of serving as the Director of DCMSSS (Discalced Carmelite Multi-Purpose Social Service Society) from May 2026 onwards.
